Joint Degree Programs

which joint degree program did you apply to? it seems to me, no one has applied for nursing!!!
i wanna become a male nurse
:P

Hahahahhahahah

Penn Nursing isn't a joint degree program...

Anyway, cool! The US definitely needs more male nurses. After taking healthcare in america(i go to georgetown), I really understand better the situation of healthcare in America. So many guys buy into the stereotype that nursing is a female career path, and that "real men" become doctors. They are two completely different paths. As time progresses, nurses are performing more tasks in the hospital, and no longer just clean up after patients and other tasks. Congrats on your decision, and good luck!

im applyin to the nursing/healthcare management joint degree... any1 else applyin? post ur stats

1600 sat1, 800 math iic, 800 writing, 800 bio m, pres / founder of NHS, pres / founder of eco-club, pres / founder of bio honor society, #1 / 645, pres of FBLA, national FBLA 2nd place impromtu speaking, etc...

(j/k)

faux..hahaa

adidas - that's not joint degree. Im pretty sure the only joint degrees are Huntsman and the engineering/wharton, M&T one. correct me if I'm wrong

Joint Degree
Undergraduates may receive a joint degree from two of the four undergraduate Schools by participating in a joint-degree program.

* Computer and Cognitive Science (College and Engineering)
* Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business (College and Wharton)
* Liberal Studies and Technology (College and Engineering)
* Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (Engineering and Wharton)
* Nursing and Health Care Management (Nursing and Wharton)

(directly from the Penn website... ) there are actually 5 but only 2 are named and are the most well known (Huntsman and Jerome Fisher M&T)

whoa, i thot there was only three

nursing, huntsman, and jerome
(oh wait there is only three concerned as far as wharton goes)

anyway, if you really want to be a male nurse... go ahead...

It says comp and cog sci is joint degree but under the actual app it lists it as dual degree.. Also, you dont have to write an essay to get in.. Weird.
