<p>Does anyone know about the journalism program at Emory? I know Emory is a fabulous school, but I haven't heard anything about their journalism program in particular and wanted some input on whether it would be better to attend an okay school with a great journalism program (i.e. Syracuse, ASU, Mizzou, etc.) or attend an overall rigorous school (i.e. Emory, NYU, etc.) without a spectacular journalism program. Thanks!</p>
<p>If you do journalism, you are required to have a second major. At Emory Scholars Finalist Weekend, my interviewer was the director of the journalism program. She was very impressive, and I imagine that her program is very good. As to your question, why not go to a great school with a great journalism program?</p>
<p>I have several journalism friends and I have heard only good things from them. Two are seniors finishing their honors theses. I just can't understand how they like to write so much.</p>
