I’m wondering what would be a more suitable major if I want to get into advertising/PR/social media marketing. The prerequisites are quite different for both majors and I’m not particularly interested in the prereq courses for the business program. However, which major/degree would be more beneficial career wise? Both these majors are in different schools so what are the pros/cons to which one I should choose? Journalism awards a BA and Business awards a BS degree.
