<p>Does UR offer Journalism as a major? If so, how is their program?</p>
<p>Check out the website. There’s a list of all the majors and minors on there with a ton of information.</p>
<p>I’ve heard that the journalism program at VCU is far stronger than the one at UR, although the curriculum at VCU is generally far less rigorous than UR.</p>
<p>Our d is a freshman at UR and taking journalism classes but has not declared a major. The professors are very strong. One of the journalism profs is also her advisor and he met with us when she moved in last August and we were extremely impressed. I can’t imagine that VCU (can’t find the school in any of the major rankings), would offer a stronger program than UR (ranked #30 in LACs in the US).</p>
