Has anyone done any of these programs? I'm a freshman now and I did Andover Summer Session last summer and it was great. How many freshmen are at JSA and Summer@Brown's minicourses?

I did Summer@Brown last summer, and had a wonderful time! There are many freshman (although we usually introduced ourselves as the grade we were going into), although most students were rising juniors/seniors. There's a thread somewhere in this forum if you want more info.

thanks .

Hey there! I'm so glad I could be of help to you. I went to JSA at Princeton and it was awesome!! I took Foreign Policy and Honors Speech Communications. My professor there was amazing. If you're interested in Foreign Policy, come to Princeton because you'll most likely have the same professor. Although the work load is rigorous, the classes not a breeze, and professors challenging, it's good for someone who wants to intellectually learn to open his or her mind to a better understanding of the world in general not only politics. It was a very powerful experience for me because I wasn't very politically minded---after this past summer, my way of thinking about foreign policy has changed dramatically. I'm not so sure about the freshmen programs for JSA but my Foreign Policy class had less than 20---16 may be? It was nice and small. I'm guessing the AP US classes are bigger though. Good luck Jonathan1 and seriously consider JSA!!
