Junior Statesman of America (a.k.a JSA) has a summer school program that features taking AP/College courses at Yale/Princeton/Georgetown/Standford.....I just wanted to find out how helpful it is to your college admissions. Is it as selective? Is it of any help at all?

not so much.

but it's a good experience, so go

buuuuummmmmmmp

its not very helpful at all?

i went there, and if you do JSA year-round it's a great way to show devotion to an EC. for example, i'm the Governor and former mayor of JSA. and i also went to the summer school and took an AP class there. it's just a great way to round off the JSA experience.

if you don't do year round, it's still very good. the classes are not taught by really prestigous professors, though. some are from the university of denver, iowa, etc...The classes are still challenging, though.

It's a great learning experience, and I loved the dances. At least you can write about it in an essay if nothing else!
