Hello! I'm from Australia and I have applied for the Juilliard Drama program. I was required to submit a pre screening video of two monologues and they reviewed my video and invited me over for a live audition in about 2/3 weeks from now (wow that's come up fast). I was wondering, does anyone know how easy/hard it is to be invited over? I just wanted to know if a lot of applicants are accepted for a live audition or if I've been very fortunate to be given this opportunity. Thanks for your help team!

Juilliard’s Drama program is one of the most prestigious acting programs in the entire world. I think it is incredible that they have invited you for a live audition.

That’s fantastic, congratulations. Just FYI, however, the prescreen is the first of, I believe, four cuts, all extremely competitive. If you do make the trip to NYC, you might want to try to schedule some other auditions at the same time, just to maximize your chances. (I know that Julliard was auditioning on-campus during the week of NYC Unifieds last year, so you might check on that.) It must be expensive coming from Australia – but how exciting!
