Damn...It says:

"There are no scores for you from the June 10, 2006 national administration. It takes longer for some scores to become available. Scores will be added weekly throughout processing as quickly as situations such as Standby registrations, late receipt of answer sheets, or inconsistent identifying information are resolved. Please try again in a week."

Did you get the same message as me or a different one?

I just called ACT. The next posting online is Friday. After that, every Wednesday and Friday. No need to check between now and Friday.

I need helpppppppp how much does the essay effect your score...pleaseeee telll me it helps your english section

english-26 (***F)

Reading-36
Science-35

http://www.actstudent.org/writing/scores/combined.html

the essay doesn't help your english score. it is made into a separate subscore (2-12) as well as a combined english/writing subscore (1-36).

same message, I called ACT. They said next batch of scores will be posted Friday!

when colleges look at the act do they just look at the composite or do they look at the sub scores too....Also do they average a 5th subscore in with your 4 other subscores or is it just a stand alone score?

Eng 35
Math 35
Reading 34
Science 33

Composite 34 (32 last time)

I'm happy, but getting that math question right would have made my score a 35! And I was sort of expecting a 36 on math, too. Stupid mistakes make me mad...

Jeff your score will a 33. The writing score is not included in your composite and currently colleges are keeping the writing/english (on the report this combined score in its own box) score on the side. Colleges will view your score as a 33 and not look at your writing as part of your score. Sorry but I'm sure you'll ace it if you retake.

To all the people that had composite scores in the 30's (especially SophieC) how did you do it?

how is a 32 still 99th percentile? it seems like alot of people get higher than that...and do colleges pay more attention to percentile or score or neither in particular...DAMN!!!! I wanted a 35!

Colleges typically don't care about your percentile. They want to see the score and only the score. Even though a 32 and 34 are both 99% colleges will obviously like the 34 significantly more. Typically these are the ranges colleges compare scores in (from 30 up). 30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36

Yeah... Current Score (Sophmore Score)

English: 35 (34)
Math: 35 (35)
Reading: 36 (30)
Science: 35 (35)
Composite: 35 (34)

Pretty happy, slightly dissapointing knowing that I was one question off...but I'll take it.

yes pyro i'd be ****ed with that score too lol

english 35
math 36
reading 34
science 36
composite 35

erk, i was one question away from a 36.

whoa, pyro and arti, you owned it

how do you guys get 30+ science scores,,,,,,,i CANT GET PAST A 26! the time kills and some of the graphs/charts are just too ambiguous. Please tell me.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I think you know what I mean though, it probably doesn't even matter statistic wise, but to come so close...

Anyways, congrads to everybody that got the score they wanted. Good luck to everybody that hasn't checked yet.

Paki, have you tried AMSCO's book? I haven't used it personally but I've heard it is very helpful.
