Only a couple of more days until we take this test and I feel it is time for the official thread.

I'll be taking the test that day; good luck to all others who are taking it. I'm really hoping for around a 30-31+ on the test.

good luck to all.

im gonna fail im gonna fail im gonna fail

Heh, positive attitude buddy!

"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can"

Is the June ACT the easy testing date? Also..is there experimental?

I didnt know ACT had experimentals.. Hmmm, do they tell you if the section your doing is an experimental?

when the act does have experimental it's on the june test

Well, school just ended for me today, but there is no time to celebrate yet, since I haven't started studying for my ACT yet!

what scores do the colleges see from your ACT test?

I'll be taking it this saturday for the first time =) Hoping for a 31-32

Mandizz, dude, same here.

There's An Experimental Section!?

only on selected test dates...I heard June is when they usually do it.

First time for me too :)

Hoping for a 33+ but I don't know.
Do they curve ACTs too, or is it just one wrong = 35, etc. etc?

They curve it (a raw score converted into a "real" score out of 36)

Err...it's curved...

I dunno, but Kaplan showed that it wasn't curved at all. shrugs

2 wrong on Math is a 33, according to Kaplan. That sounds kind of ridiculous to me.

the kaplan scoring is wrong....

I have the proactice test made by act and th scoring is way different...

getting 20 right on reading section according to kaplan would get you a 17...but according to the ACT it would be about 22-23

I guess kaplan scores it so badly becuase then they can always make a student seem "better" by scoring so harsly on kaplans own test.

all these princeton review, kaplan, etc., scores are scewed.

they do that becuase they can guarantee a score improvement.
