ACT essay is pretty simple. They’re mostly just looking for a good structure and actually answering the prompt.

I wish college board did what the act does by giving you the actual test with your score report. Its so helpful.

Taking this as my first act (besides 7th grade) Took a practice test
E 34
M 25 (I’ve lost hope I’l ever be good at math)
R 28 (Missed a few very easy answers by overthinking)
S 24 (usually high 20’s for me. The section in the practice test I took was abnormally hard though and had a very harsh curve)
C 28

Eh, Ill take it. Ill be fine if that’s my real ACT score. I just need a 32 before I graduate to get a good scholly at UA (War eagle tho )

Wo’s all takin this one?

me

Me too

Hoping for a 32+ but wouldn’t be surprised if i got a 34-36

I just want a 33+ composite, but my math score is consistently in the 27-29 range. Any advice or suggestions?

Look at the types of questions that you missed.
Review said material.

Has anyone else studied with princeton review practice tests? If so, how did your pr practice tests compare to your actual results. The tests from PR’s 1296 seem much more difficult than the tests from the red book.

Hoping for a 30. Need it for full tuition scholly

@austin23 they are a lot more difficult! I’m using “Cracking the ACT” by Princeton Review and the tests are seemingly harder. I made a 33 composite w/o studying on a test from the official ACT website; then I skimmed the book I got and took a PR test and made a 31. It did seem a lot harder though.

The English was pretty accurate for me. The science was a tad hard. Math was a tad hard, and English was all over the place.

On the actual ACT, I did better on the english & reading sections than I did on the PR practice tests, and the 1296 questions as well.

I’m taking the test in June and I suffer in all the categories. So, do you guys have any suggestions for any of the sections? I have:
C 25
E 28
M 22
R 25
S 24

Any tips would be loved! Thanks!

I’m hoping for these scores
33C
34E
34M
30R
32S

Any sophomores taking this one?

Hey guys any advice for me? I’m taking this next week and have done 0 studying so far. I have the red book, does a practice test a day sound like a good strategy? What guides should I read? Any advice, thanks appreciate it.

I also have done no preparation for this ACT in June and it is my first. Any advice, even if you think it is so basic that it would be assumed knowledge. In comparison to the SAT, my E-7:40 W-740 M-610. Help?

The ACT is fast paced, shoot for a winning combination of speed and accurancy. DO NOT OMIT. It’s like most tests at school, its better to guess than omit.

Who’s not ready!
I never took it
and i tried some CR questions and for some reason I DO BETTER IN SAT??? weird
