Bijou M: Is there anything else I can do for you?
You: No. thank you!”
They keep saying this to me regardless of what I ask them.

I am trying to write to them right now.And though it may be over, people want to know if they should start preparing to re-take or not. Some can’t help but worry because this test has heavy effect

I am on the phone right now to talk to ACT

Did anyone else feel like they didn’t have enough time? This was my first ACT… I couldn’t finish any section. Its weird because I always had extra time when I took practice tests at home.

They say earliest is the 21st for scores to available

And no the ACT is designed to have time limits.Of course when you do it at home with no proctors or anything, you have extra time. But once you are doing the test for real, its a strict time limit

Yeah they say predetermined scale set for specific test…no curve. They have a predetermined scale based on test they made for that specific date

Sorry I’m having trouble understanding this… so its going to be like always? No “curve” but a predetermined scale?

So I just conformed for April 2014 and April 2013 test date that curve was exactly same for both. Now with that theory if you can look at June 2013 curve should give you some idea. Btw June 2013 test was the most generous curve ever.

@tulsi3patel‌ how were you able to confirm that? Live chat or email? And does anyone have the June 2013 curve table?

Friend who took June 2013 has booklet. When I say conform means I checked April 2013 and April 2014 book let.

… Are the tests the same?

That’s very interesting if true…

June 2013 ACT scaled scores for those wondering: http://www.actquantum.com/2013-act-tests/#prettyPhoto/1/

I talked to the corporate office just now and she said those booklets/tests are retired so don’t expect to see whats on retired tests on new one… This lady I talked to had taken ACT herself and had it done 25 years ago there is a scale they already set for the individual test that is not affected or based on previous thing.

There is NO curve. The lady kept stressing it out to me.no curve at all. why score differentiate is due to whats on that specific test and the difficulty and if they tweaked some questions…though it may be possibly by chance that 2 test dates of seperate years have similar score range and by chance look similar.but no curve.only pre determined scale

@SammyxB‌ so similar to previous tests?

Eh

I hate the ACT :(

Scale is pre-determined and its like one of those…random occurences where those scales may look similar sometimes…idk how to describe/write it any clear/better

OK thanks
