June 2006 - Chemistry

I left 2 blank....
Probably got 5 wrong...

That'll land me a 780+ (or so I hope :( )

It was easier than the practice tests in Barrons and a little easier than sparknotes online..

What about you guys?

what was emphasized on it?

Main thing:
NO NUCLEAR CHEMISTRY!

Lots of Stoichiometry, Solutions, Acid/Base and some other basics....

oh man... freakin lots of lab questions too.... i left only 1 blank... how limestone reacts.... BUT I KNO IT WAS EASY... i just kno wat limestone is... >_<
but i also think i got like 5 to 6 wrong... i hope i break mid 7's....

I think that was neutralization because limestone is CA(OH)2 and when you pour an acid onto that it'll probably neutralize

anyone wanna get a chatroom going?

It sucks that Chem has one of the worst curves....780+ should be made 800

A chatroom? Sure...where?

Lets call it satchem

Just took it. MUCH easier than Barron's.... I left a few blank (didn't count), but I didn't really guess on any. I'll be angry if I didn't do well because I thought I knew everything, which probably means the ones I get wrong will be because of stupid mistakes.

Best of luck to you all! Not that it matters now...

What's the chatroom in?
I don't have much experience with them but...is it in AIM? MSN? YAHOO?

aim (ten characters)

invite yourself to "satchem".

discuss (10 chars).

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=197780

Why isn't anyone in satchem?!

get me in the chat were do i go in aim, help me please

some one i the chat put up there screen name so i can talk to them

do you have aim? pm me, and ill invite you.

it would be a lot more helpful to list the questions here instead of doing a chat.

for the NaF, NaCL, NaBr, NaI, NaAt, was it asking for highest melting point or lowest melting point?

btw, the acid rain question was reduction, not neutralization
