For the mirror one, I got 4.5 or something? Because if its a plane mirror, than the image is just reflected over, so it would be 7.5-3? Or did it ask for the distance from the real image to the reflected image? I deid refleced man from reflected boy.

OMG! I subtracted 7.5-3 and got 3.5... How stupid of me !!! Doh! doh! doh!

Or was it 7.5-4 and thats why I got 3.5?

Well is 4.5/3.5 the answer? I dorgot which one I put. Some people said 10.5. I can't afford to get many more wrong, lol.

I dont think 4.5/3.5 is the answer....

But it was a plane mirror, so the reflected images are the same distance apart as the actual images. So the distance between the reflected man and the reflected boy was like 3.5/4.5. Or did I misread the question?

oh wait. I thought you meant the answer was the quotient of 3.5 and 4.5....

Yes I do believe that the answer is either 3.5 or 4.5... Are you sure that the value of the distance of the boy from mirror is 3? If it was three, then I guess 4.5 is the correct answer.. I subtracted wrong.

I forget, but I thought it was. I don't remember specifically. It asked for the distance between the reflected images, right?

I believe so.. Your thought proces was the same as mine when I was doing the test...

the ? asked for the distance between the real man and the image of the boy...the answer was 10.5

yo wasn't it 7-3.5 .... = 3.5 im pretty sure its 7-3.5

the man was 7 ft from a plane mirror and the boy was 3.5 ft away, therefore the boy's image was 3.5 ft on the otherside. the question asked how far the man was from the boy's image, hence 7 + 3.5 = 10.5

How is it 10.5? Woudnt the distance between the boy and real man be the same in front of the mirror as well as the back? hence, you just subtract the distance between them?

No, sorry, it asked for the distance between the REAL man and the IMAGE of the boy.

Damn! Didn't read it that way..

It's alright, lots of people at my test center made that mistake. When there is 75 questions to answer, there is definitely some pressure from the time.

it was much harder than the real sat 2 practice test

what was the answer to that average velocity one?

not sure if we are talking about the same question but I wanna say 16 m/s.... If it doesnt ring a bell, then i'm probably thinking about another question..

the easy one... it was like km/h and one of the answer choices was like 2.85, 3 and something else
