June 2006 - Physics

crazdude23, that's a butterfly created from fractals.

for #2 (that i asked), was the slope of the tangent negative at D?
what about at B?

I want the scores already !!!!!!!!

Me too.

26-12 = 14 more days

Btw crazydude23, that was the exact reasoning I had for picking mud. I did not expect dried-cracked-mud to have a set pattern but I DID expect and insect to have a fixed pattern.

3 more days :D

is physics the easiest of the three sciences?

It was sloping up so the slope was positive..

....2 more days......

in my time zone.

naidu, I personally would say chemistry, because biology is maybe 95% rote memorization, and physics requires more critical thinking.

Hm..I'm not sure. I would say so far Physics is the easiest for me. Chemistry is tougher since there are a lot of abstract concepts that take a while to get used to, and Biology is pure memorization + application of memorized information. If that's something you're good at then you should be alright. I'm only good with memorizing, not with applying.

What would you guys say that the curve was?

I got at least 2 wrong.

what was your score?

800

ten chars

10 wrong would probably still warranty you a 800.

Thats funny, I thought I go no more than 5 wrong and omitted 7, so why did I get a 710?

The keyword here is "thought". =P

I'm not that sure about the curve, just estimating from sparks and PR.

i have a questions- i'm taking the physics sat 2 on oct 14 and was wondering if the tests in the collegeboard blue books are the same/similar to the actual test.

thanks.

They asked history of Physics questions in the June Physics SAT? I'd like to know.

They asked what Galileo discovered. Utter rubbish. Anyway, remember to do practise tests from different publishers. Don't just concentrate on PR or Barrons.
