it was KE was greater because KE is dependent on (m)

Yea, your right. One question had a picture of a box moving from a to b, and it asked which equation told the total force. Was it I+II? mgd and Fd only?

yeah but greater KE doesnt explain why its further down than the smaller ball. i put ratio of mass to surface area because that would imply that the smaller ball had greater surface area, thus having more air resistence? not sure.

no it asked for the work... i dont think mgd works...thats only for gravatational potential energy right?

o yea dude, it remember the question now 2, i think i put that also througn process of elimination

But you couldn't put Fx only. It was either I+II or I+III or I+II+III. And mgd is just the weight times the distance.

I think I put I,III

But mgd is definitely wrong. That's saying that F is always equal to mg, which is not the case.

its I+III because the weight times the distance wouldnt be the work that ur doing on it.

Galileo- who was his wife/wat did he contribute to
Shape of rock/graviational force variation

Anyone know those?

Would 1/2(mv^2) do anything? Becuase that was III

I said Galileo didn't know the universe was expanding.

woo... I hated that Galileo question

yeah, 1/2mv^2 is the KE is the energy of the box at point 2. Work = KE final - KE initial. Since the box starts from rest, the initial KE is 0. therefore the work is equal 1/2mv ^2. Fd is the definition of work.

Which one of these would not affect the horizontal distance that the stone travels:

was the light bulb only radiation?

Crap. Another one wrong. Was the answer to the second to last one 20?

crap i thought the mgd said mgh so i didn't put that one. i think 1/2(mv^2) works as well because that's KE and W= change in KE.

did anyone think that the test was hard? i omitted 11 questions :( and guessed on a few other ones. do you thinkt he curve will be lenient for this test?

Dream- yea
Fool- I said stone's shape, since inertia depends on mass only.

yeah the light bulb was just radiation. convection is like transfer of heat through liquids (or something to do with liquids...idk wht haha) and conduction is actually contact between two things.
