June 2006 - French

Does anyone remember any of the answers?

Anyone know where I can find one on the 'net? Thanks!

one what on the net?

No french takers?

I took French...I didn't think it was too tough, but I thought that the advertisements were harder than usual.

I did French as well - you didn't happen to take Math I did you?

Anyhow, I can't remember any of the answers, but if you remember any of the questions..

I was wondering what the curve is like on the French SAT II? Roughly.. good/bad?

Oh yeah was that woman only selling houses to other women? Took a guess on that, I thought it was because she kept mentioning women but didn't really have time to work it through, it was probably quite a silly guess.

Today I just took math, and I'll be taking French next year, and I was SO tempted to look through it just to see what the French was like... haha

I was so unprepared for the SAT 2 French and I'm in French III at my school. I find it truly unfair that Colllegeboard tries to establish this level where everybody in the country should be at in their education. Heck! Has anybody taken the National French Contest? Now that Level 3 test was my level. This SAT 2 is a whole 'nother level...maybe level 9.

Why couldn't I learn Chinese in Chinese school when I was younger?!

Do Chinese anyway mate it's fricking easy.

"Heck! Has anybody taken the National French Contest? Now that Level 3 test was my level. This SAT 2 is a whole 'nother level...maybe level 9. "

Sparetire - I did the National French Contest this year, for level 4. I did pretty well... didn't think it was that hard. Is the SAT II really that bad though?? What was hard about it, reading passages, or vocab, or what?

Sorry, I meant a grading scale, the webiste edited that part out of my post. Anyway, is there one for SAT II French on the net? Thanks!

Anyone want to make a list of questions/answers?

Was it se plaignait, le plaignait, or plaignait?

Can anybody make a list?

Here are some of the lectures:
-young kids walking by gardens with music playing/technology
-traveling into France (Bourdeaux and Paris)
-new student in class + recess
-bread is less popular

And the ad's:
-home decor store
-advertisement to women: model homes
-Louis Vutton watch for vacation

I put se plaignait, probably wrong..

Yep, thecomisar, SAT 2 French is terrible. It's particularily the vocab because there are just so many French words, you can't lhave earned them all.

I do regret not going to Yuan Ming school back in grade school. :'(

DUDE IT WAS RIDICULOUSLY DIFFICULT.

I got 2 wrong on a practice PR test, and this one was just plain BRUTAL.

I hope the curve is really generous.

^ Well, crap! The PR book is the one I have... in what ways is it different from the real thing?

You have to be like a native speaker... it was crazy ridiculous. I'm depressed now :(

I put that too. It made sense to me.
