June 2006 - US History

Oh, there was another question about what Anti-Federalists wanted. It was an except question. Forgot what I put.

kansas choice for one is definately correct because they did decide to have popular soveriegnty instead of just admitting with no determination at all.

etti, i put the same.

i said the brits weren't occupying american land.

Brit soldiers still occupied Am after the Revolution. There were a treaty about that and the War of 1812 was fought partly to remove the soldiers.

I think I skipped this question though.

*compiling list

i think its loyalist put down guards..honestly..the war was over. Loyalists were willing to agree because they got freedom...i dont think the other choice was right..im quite sure it was loyalists one

sparetire, the question that you're referring to, I put like they didn't have access to the mouth of the mississippi river because it was controlled by the spanish - that's wrong cuz it at that time it was controlled by the french? it was an except question.

Hmm you could be right sparetire, but I'm not sure solely on the fact that I remember hearing somewhere that the loyalists carried arms and didn't put them away easily..

now that i think of it, i'm pretty sure it was loyalists because if i remember correctly, the british still held some american land.

Does anyone remember the question about the mississippi river? I remember that one..I just need to hear the question again.

Guys, the question was "The Americans had to deal with all of the following problems between 1783-1789 EXCEPT"

A. loyalists refusal to put down arms.
B. british occupation
C. the closed port of the mississippi (correct answer)
D. something else
E. something else

Wow, you people are fast. What about the diagram with the slave imports? It was an except question. I put something about how British No Am had the least slaves imported.

wasnt 43 and 42 the same?, i coulda sworn it said to the north.
spare are you sure it was on the sat ii, i think that was on a practice REA test..

yeah sparetire, the answer to that was A

gxing..its loyalist p-ut down arms..i sure of it..no where in hisotry did it say during the period of 1783 + did loyalist ocntinue to fight ..i thought the Articles of COnfederation sucessfully conducted the War od Indepedence negotiation in the Treaty of Paris 1873 and ended the war. Therefore loyalists quit because british quit.

i thought that it was the british were still there.... I remember they were influencing indians and providing them with arms after the war.

Damn I missed about 8 questions from that list. Hopefully I get over 700.

Tammany Hall...wasn't it talking about the effectiveness of primary elections?

Correct, it was Taylorism because the whistle exemplified how everything was organized on the basis of time.

Really happy I got it right, thanks for finding the proof!

I put they needed more jobs in the north during WW1, I'm pretty sure this is the right answer.

Southerners settled to the West because their land plots were dying. I don't think Jefferson advocated settling across the Appalachians, it just sounded funny although he did support agrarians.

I don't remember this question.

It was about settling West

I forgot the answer choices? I think I put C

Can anyone verify the loyalist/british controversial question? It seems both could be right..
