emory, the New Deal didn't help blacks, can anyone verify this?

demeter, I think I did, not sure though I have to see the other choices.

atnay, I'm sorry but it was because their land was dying. The wheevels were associated with the Okies migration across the Great Plains on the way to CA.

Johnsons Great Society did support the arts- therefore the answer was the one involving blacks, because they (for the most part) were not helped by the new deal.

I missed maybe 8 so far from the questions posted here. (Probably 12-15 total)
Hoping for 700+ :)
Not too bad since I didn't study at all; I was considering not taking it today.
I made some really lucky, but educated, guesses

Anyone remember the one with the quote that was something like: "there can't possibly be a domination in government because there would be so many factions that it wouldn't allow tyranny."

This was in defense of a strong central gov't, so I looked for federalist, but it wasn't there. So I went with Madison on that one. There was also a Thomas something that I wasn't sure of.

I was actually hoping for someone like van Buren or the Albany Regency (if that's what it's called) to be one of the choices because I thought it advocated the creation of political parties.

Anyway, I chose the Hutchinson guy. His was the only name I didn't recognize, and I didn't think the others were really appropriate answers.

oh, I'm so mad, I chose Warhol for the tomato can but then in the end I ended up leaving it blank.
Okay, how about the one with some section IV or something of the Civil Rights Act that relate to women?

Anybody remember the quote that have something to do with women also and how they cited the Bible and other texts? Was the answer E, lady sent letter to James Madison or some other president?
