Correct.

10char

Jhockey,

I think that was the only one NOT found in nature as a free element.

I’m sorry guys. I’m wrong I’m just so nervous… it is 3
Can somebody please confirm the lab question
and some of the balancing questions

At only 7 pages, at least skim the thread.

tl;dr YOU’RE WRONG.

The answer was pouring “acid into water” - which is correct procedure
it didn’t say “water into acid” (incorrect)

so the only correct one was the graduated cylinder

So can someone answer what was the answer for adding 30 ml of .1 M KOH to a 60 ml unknown monoprotic acid?
i put .05 M… that was kinda a guess, i wasn’t sure if i needed to know if the acid was weak or strong.

ya I put Na…

try adding water into acid  remember to call an ambulance beforehand, haha

What was the answer to the ion balancing question?

I’m still confused about the potassium and water, do they yield OH- or OH- and H2?

1 wrong
0 blank

Anyways, what did you guys get for the 02 and 03 question? It was close to the end of the exam.

I omitted the ion balancing equation because I didn’t want to waste time.

allotropes

O2 and O3 are allotropes.

the one with K and H2O was H2 gas, K+ and OH-
The answer was H2 and OH- since K+ wasn’t an answer.

Carbon and Graphite have the same structures (false) because they are both pure forms of carbon (true)

does anyone remember question referring to spectators where they gave 4 choices. I think I put the 2nd and 4th choice which was Cl and Na or something like that.

1st and 4th, and that’s the answer I got. :]

Sublimation is not a chemical reaction.

As far as I know, anyway.

yes it was Na and Cl for the spectator ions (1st and 4th)

Can someone answer what was the answer for adding 30 ml of .1 M KOH to a 60 ml unknown monoprotic acid?
i put .05 M… that was kinda a guess, i wasn’t sure if i needed to know if the acid was weak or strong.

for the koh one i think it was .05 M because its m1v1=m2v2

Anybody have the answer to the ionic balancing question?
Was it 2? I don’t even remember lol
