I wrote TTCE for the isomer one, wasn’t sure though

After looking through this thread, it looks like I have 2 wrong so far. Stupid lab questions…I should have paid more attention in class.

yea for iron filings thats what i got. what about the nacl and h2o: distillation?

there was another balancing question with H2S

and question 101

^ that’s what I put. The others were off

yes distillation

Highest boiling point is NaAt right?
The iodine solid to gas is heat of sublimation?

yup, distillation
1 blank, 1 wrong so far

Bell Curves,

Highest boiling point is NaF, isn’t it? I asked my friend to check on the way back.

And yeah, heat of sublimation.

Highest was NaF, highest electronegativity difference = strongest bond

Now I’m really worrying. Was the energy needed to vaporize a solid heat of sublimation, or are you talking about the earlier question?

anbody remember the balancing question with H2S and the ideal gas question was 8.0 L
anybody remember the 1 mole question?? Was it 22.4 L??
Were there two questions where the answer was 22.4?

Was there answer that was oxygen famil?!! I don’t remember it at all???!!!

i think its the opposite because the smaller the ionic radius the stronger the crystal lattice so i think it was NaF and i put heat of combustion for the one where it went from solid to gas because that is the same as burning something in o2

I put NaF for the highest boiling point.

was oxygen family an answer?

[Enthalpy of sublimation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Enthalpy of sublimation - Wikipedia)

I’m pretty sure it was that for the last question of the test.

The nitrogen gas at 273K and 2atm was 11.2L right?

for the 1 mole of the ideal gas u just used the combined gas law so it was 44.8L

It was 11.2 because you doubled the pressure, so you halved the volume.

it said 1 mole which confused me a lot. So i put 22.4. I have no idea. I remember another question that also asked for the volume which I’m sure was 22.4.

anybody remeber the first T/F question 101.

yes, there was an answer Oxygen family

there was a question, asked for the volume of 1 mole of gas at 273K, but 2 atm. what was the answer? 11.2L right?
