It was definitely “interest in”. It said something like “… _________ and craving(or some word which acted the same) for beautiful art.”

You must treat “interest in” and “craving for” as two separate things before “beautiful art.”
One may have a “craving for beautiful art”, and one may have an “interest in beautiful art”, but it doesn’t make sense to say “interest beautiful art.”

I was just looking at that and I inserted the word passion (though that’s not what it was) and I noticed the for and the parallelism.

phew! I’m glad I didn’t fill in A.

If i miss 1 for the writing MC, I could still get an 800 with an 11/12 essay, couldn’t I?

reposting:

what about the 2nd to last question on section 10 - was A correct? - it did not use “however” and used “but”

And for the last question, I put A (“were…”) because I thought the “them” in “By Them” (Choice E) was referring to the wrong thing.

For the old people one, are you guys sure it was “courses of”? I read that many times and I really don’t remember that at all.

Yeah. 11/12 gives a nice lean of like -4 for 800s.

Nope. “however” was riight.

however can’t be right. It didn’t use a semicolon!!

i also dont remember a problem with the idiom “courses…” on the old ppl problem…but it could be SAT trying to trick us

@Bee123 - But there was a switch in the sentence.

… Wait, are we talking about King creating the publishing agency?

what is the however problem??..context please

what was wrong with using “but”

ohh for the publishing agency, i said:
king did this, but lessened her involvement
or something like that

Hmmmm, that’s just terrible

I was thinking that of should be in, but then sounded it out, and I thought I heard such a statement before.

So for the old people question is not No Error and is courses in?

(I’ve almost completely forgot all the questions. I have a good short time memory =P)

Can someone write out the question for the old people one (to the best of their memory)

courses in or courses on writing.

i dont remember the first part (the part with the controversial “courses”) of the old ppl sentence, but the second part goes somewhat like this:

old people “in their eighties” have started writing stories that tell how people lived “long ago”

14 on section 10? Was it A?
