cud everyone pls post asnwers ur sure of were right and any doubts u might hav ? my writing has always sucked last time got 570 but hope to pull it up to 760 this time.

btw is it just me or were there very few "no errors" this time ? lol

nd i found the writing more difficult that the sat in jan (in which i got screwed) so du ull think the curve will be more linient ??

^ yeah I noticed that there were few “no errors” too~ I thought it was just me haha
does anyone remember which of the questions were “No error”?

From what i recall, i found 2 no errors

I found 2 or 3.

Was the the about the actors “being scarcely believable” a no error? It was the one I was debating on…

I think that was a no error…don’t remember

If I remember correctly, I also got 2 No errors

I got 1-2 no errors. not that many tho.

^ darks0ulz, me too. I had a tough time with that haha…I chose “being” as an error but I’m pretty sure it’s wrong :(

Oh, my bad. my answer is probably wrong.

Anyone remember the exact wording of the question?

Yeah the “being” tripped me up.

There was also a tricky error about the sentence about some organization. (It was one of the last 3-4 sentences.) “Their” was an error. Its a plural pronoun but the subject was singular. It sounded right but the pronouns didn’t agree…

Yeah was that “the board” one? I remmeber that.

could the actor one be “to be scarcely believable”? I chose no error, but I’m just wondering since I don’t remember the exact wording. I was told that “being” is often wrong, but I HAVE come across questions where “being” is actually fine.

not only was it ___ as being scarcely believeable

i put being as the error because it had to be ‘were’ instead of ‘being’… just because the phrase before “as” was past tense… I THINK. i maybe wrong

also yeah stupid error on that building construction one… for some reason i put the error as “one” 8-)

the answer is “will be attaching” i think

Do you remember any other choices for the board one? I don’t remember the question :(

Yeah it was the board question.

I don’t think “to be” would’ve worked in the sentence. I tried substituting it in but it didn’t make sense. I just chose no error as I couldn’t figure out if anything as actually wrong with it.

I think the sentence was like Not only was it _, the actors were as being scarcely believable. Not really sure about the sentence order.

What about improving paragraphs ?

I know that I got the “someone and I” question wrong. Some time ago some bozo told me that saying “name here and I” is correct in that context and I was influenced by that xD… So I assumed there was no error. I think in the end I got 3 with no error.

Does anyone remember what the answer was to the second last question about Nelson Mandela. I can’t remember what I put, but I remember tripping up on that one a bit…

I remember there was a question about Mandela ; dont remember anything more about it :)

Was it Mandela became president of his country? Don’t remember

It was something like:

The South African Government sentenced Nelson Mandela to jail for almost 30 years, but he later became president of his country

Can’t remember the options, but I had a suspicion that some of them mixed up the subjects “The South African Government” and “Mandela”.
