if its more than 750 that will be fine

ghandi’s spinning wheel - nonviolent protest
china and xongnu - mongols and russia i think
writing in americas - I guessed zapotec because it was the only one I’d ever heard of
egypt and mesopotamia - geographical obstacles?
hellenism - democracy or spread of greek culture to eastern med. and western asia, not sure

map of europe - international order until mid 19th century or weak nations
failure of ottoman reforms -

The one about the Japanese empress was Confucianism. Bushido was like a code of chivalry for samurai.
China & Xiongnu- Rome & the Huns
Failure of Ottoman reforms- the reforms came form above
Writing system in Americas- Maya

Mexican & American relations in 1930’s- ?
Not an effect of German reunification- ?

What was the question about Chinese philosophy? I can’t seem to remember that question…

ah okay…

WOW. just wow. Those questions were so F-ing RANDOM! How are we suppose to know where Sheba is??? anyways…
could someone answer these? I’m not sure…
1.Reason why E asia had more population vs. Europe
2. Roman slavery vs. Americas
3. last group to migrate to N. America
4. most advnaced language or something…I put Nahuatl
5. latest European nation to industrialize
6. US direct control over what territories before WWII
7. abbasid caliphs balance

I thought the Shi huangdi one was because he drafted farmers for construction
and that gandhi’s spinning wheel was about rural crafts or something
and the one with no missionaries was hinduism

East Asia more population than Europe- I put the one with the greater density of rice per acre or something…
Latest European nation to industrialize- Germany
Question about which area was NOT in US control before WWII (?)- I forget what I put. Maybe North Africa?

What do you guys think the curve will be? I’m hoping it’ll be at least as big as the 75/95= 800 one on the second practice test in Official US + World History book.

1.Reason why E asia had more population vs. Europe
i put the greater density of rice paddy thing
2. Roman slavery vs. Americas
the less racial distinction one
3. last group to migrate to N. America
lol i put inuit
4. most advnaced language or something…I put Nahuatl
i put that too
5. latest European nation to industrialize
i have no idea, i but russia, i think it was germany though
6. US direct control over what territories before WWII
don’t remember this question? someone refresh my memory please
7. abbasid caliphs balance
?don’t remember this either

oh and eternal heart:

Mexican & American relations in 1930’s- i put because of the one-party rule thing in mexico Not an effect of German reunification-i put the one with france doing something

This test was ridiculous. A ton of the questions were really random and not even covered in my AP class. Hopefully the curve is going to help my score :/

what about the common thing between Aztecs + Incas?
-put that they both incorporated conquered peoples into their empires

the last question (the Yeltsin one)?
-was that fall of wall dealt fatal blow to USSR

Honestly, I thought the test today was much harder than the one in the CollegeBoard published book. If anything, I’d expect the curve to be 75/95 or even more forgiving.

Several questions made me say “what the f***?” (in my head), and, like roylikeswaffles, I took AP world in addition to studying for this specific Subject Test.

I haven’t taken US History in 2 years, and only spent a week reviewing. That said, I think I did fairly well… 8 blank and maybe 18 wrong. Is a 750 possible? Thanks.

i answered all the questions on the world history one. What is the maximum i can get wrong and still get a 750

jerseyindian: both of those answers are correct

joshcasto: this is the thread for world history, not US history

I meant that, haha. World History. My bad.

studentathlete33: 14 or 15 incorrect for a 750, depends.

That said… I probably got that many wrong with 8 blank, which is a 700 X-(
