June 2010: Biology

@Fresh101 : I picked all 3 for the Climate one as well.

I picked the one before the desert one for Chaparral. I knew it wasn’t A/B, Or E, can’t remember C/ D.

yeah fresh i picked all three for that to…
What about why the pines were lower in elevation?
gray soil was further up right? or something like that

Chapparal was shrubs and constant fires or w/e

^that’s what i had.

Same here.

how about the one that was like “data that supports mineral homeostasis”. I picked the one with the total inorganic salts.

^ I don’t recall putting that.

I actually don’t remember the question at all.

How many wrong to get a 750? Opinions? It was harder than ap bio exam for me…

what about the one on fertilization? It was one of those EXCEPT questions.

I put, A, ovules are tranferred from one plant to another. The others seemed right to me.

Has the embargo been lifted?

Bioboy, I think you have to get 9 wrong with no omits to get 750. With maybe 1 omit, you could get 10 wrong.

What’s the embargo? I hope there is a really good curve… I want a really good grade :/… I also said the ovules are transferred like you fresh. I believe i put total inorganic salts for mineral homeostasis as well. Diabetes mulletis was glucose, urea was also one of the answers

^all my answers match up with yours. YEE!!

Urea - which one was that?

EDIT: Sorry - I did put down inorganic salts for homeostasis. I’m getting pretty confused with the questions for that section because I took practice test with a similar question and table.

Can you think of anymore? I can’t remember anything… um … on the test mimicry was one of the answers. Also for the mitotic cell division and meiosis division graphs, the mitotic one was the first graph and the sperm division was the last graph.

@runningempty If you can remember the questions i can tell you, but I dont remember the questions

It was the one with the “data supports that this is the one that is LEAST likely to be reabosrbed…” as soon as i saw, i knew it had to be urea.

Can you think of anymore? I can’t remember anything… um … on the test mimicry was one of the answers. Also for the mitotic cell division and meiosis division graphs, the mitotic one was the first graph and the sperm division was the last graph.

once again, i have the same thing. :)

can someone explain the answers to the sperm and mitosis graphs. i put the first graph for mitosis. but for sperm i wasnt so sure so i put the graph where it starts out in the middle for some time and then drops lower…

polyploidy? umm… cup1 of the limewater…?

I don’t know if I put urea.

I hate my memory.

For the sperm diagram - I think I put the graph w/ showed the DNA being reduced to half. I’m unsure by what they mean by sperm division now or was it sperm production.

was the first answer for limewater something to do with CO2?
