***June 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@Jarjarbinks23‌ the tense error comes with “unable to produce”. I feel like he would use the present tense since it’s a general belief? If you are unable to produce something id say you lack something not lacked it since you still don’t have it? Sorry if that’s confusing. I’m just saying my reasoning it doesn’t have to be correct

Nah the baboon question was legit. My experimental was in reading

@sat2014‌ probably high 600s to low 700s

Ohhhh that was the one that said mother and daughters something something her. And we don’t know what her is referring to. Or am I completely wrong?

Anybody here remember the Baboon Sentence? Pls post it (or parts of it)

What did you guys think of the recent SAT? I thought the writing was fairly easily with a couple of the sentence errors being tricky (got the baboon one wrong and the galaxy one too) the essay prompt was reasonable, the math I thought was ok but you had to read carefully(probably my worst section got at least 10+wrong) and the vocab in the critical reading I thought was fairly easy but the passage based answer choices were tough ones. (like the guy in NYC whether he was in awe or confused) if i had to rate best to worst it would be writing, reading, then math.

@Jarjarbinks23‌ “Baboons have mother-daughter relationships. It is a blahblahblah between the mother and her (daughters)”

Oh wow I probably put no error. I understand why its wrong now.

@humbugs ah the worst part is I dont even remember what I answered for that… no way to confirm whether i got it wrong or not. But thanks for the post though

@Jarjarbinks23‌ no problem. it wasn’t nearly as obvious as that sentence though, it probably had unnecessary words and such to throw you off

Newbie here! One section of reading was haaarrrdd!

anyone remember the answer to the math question about a rectangle and its height? pretty sure it was in the 20 sec and it came before the hards? the answer choices were A. 20 B. 10 C. 5 D. 4 and E. 2 i think

Daughters was definitely wrong I think, it said daughters and her mother. Her is singular, daughters is not .

Ooh I remember that question! @sat2014‌ I don’t remember what I put but I feel like I got it right

Yep daughters was wrong. You wouldn’t catch it unless you read the whole sentence.

For me the order of difficulty from easiest to hardest is math, writing and reading. The essay prompt was fairly simple but I’m kind of mad at myself for not arguing against it. The essay probably would have been more solid that way :(

Seriously these next two weeks will go by extremely slow! :-w

I feel pretty confident about my essay (Hoping for a high score on that), but the longer I wait, the more I over-analyze everything, which makes me more nervous about my score!

I kind of want the next 2 weeks to go by quickly but also don’t want them to because that means I lose two weeks of summer :|

I’m awful at math, didn’t really do well on that section. The only ones for sure I got wrong for the writing section were the baboon question and the one about galaxies and the keiper belt. i think i put A for the galaxy one. Does anyone remember the question (15/16) before the fish one? (i got the fish one wrong :-S )

I think the one before the fish one was the question asking about the number of somethings in a sequence. If that’s the one, I put 197

dang, i got the last 2 wrong then. put 198 for that one. For the 18 question math section with the grid ins, number 8(the last one before grid ins) i put letter E. the one before it was a slope one and the answer was 1 to number 7. anyone else remember which problem I’m talking about and if so what letter choice did you put?

I put 198 too and I’m so mad myself because I overlooked the median part.

Idk man that description is too vague. Have you gone through the doc to check?
