***June 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Remember, wordiness isnt gramatically incorrect; at least in sentence errors its not.

I’d say B. Where is the incorrect relative pronoun- it can only refer to a place.

@sat2014 as humbugs might have alluded to, it’s probably B…

change “plan WHERE” into “plan IN WHICH.” That one was tricky

yeah that one was tough. what do you guys feel is the hardest part of the writing section? the essay itself. improving sentences, paragraphs or the identifying sentence errors?

Id say the essay. The rest is so formulaic its so easy to predict which kind of errors will show up

I think the reading passage about ruth… the essay is easy to nail as long as you can use relevant examples.

The essay is hardest for me because I tend to space and spazz out when my mind goes blank :|

I just don’t understand how you get a 12 essay and how it differs from a 10. what small little thing gives a person a 6 instead of a 5. What about in critical reading? what passages do you guys like or don’t like? I personally despise the dual passages both short and long. I also don’t like the passages where there are only 6 questions(like 10-15) and the other passages is 16-24. I tend to read the passages before answering the questions so I have a general understanding of what I am answering. I don’t like Science passages. I’m better with narratives.(the one about the ethopian on this sat was quite challenging) :-?

Tbh I like to read so I don’t mind passages. I just hate passages that are written in some unknown archaic language. My problem with cr is it takes me a while before what I read sinks in and the SAT is a speed test so I’m screwed

The timing KILLS me, an extra 5 min and my score could be at least 100 points higher. I have less time to think which causes me to rush and panic and when that happens, all hell breaks loose

I wish the SAT math was replaced with math on the SAT 2. That way the curve would be a lot nicer (to put it in perspective, the 88% percentile on the SAT 2 math is an 800)

Eh no id fail that because I just did algebra 2 this year and I’m a junior :expressionless:

ACT scores come out so quickly but after you take the SAT you have to wait 638483828 years before they come out

How long do you have to wait for ACT scores?

Their scores start getting released on the 23rd :expressionless: even before ours get out

Any way we can use proxies to access them earlier? I hear thats what some people used to access AP scores early

Idk and tbh I don’t think I care that much I’ll just wait

These weeks are dragging by so slowly

I know that the essay factors into the score which is why it takes so long…but I wish you could at least see how you did on the multiple choice early lol…the suspense is killing me

I hope these days drag out longer because I’m not ready to be laden with disappointment lol
