***June 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@mizejonathan17‌
Unless I misunderstood what you said:

 1. 5AM EST = 12AM HST (midnight)
 2. If you get a Hawaiian proxy and log in at 12AM HST, then it will be 5AM EST, so there’s no point.

Hmm… excellent point @ParanoiaPlus . I was thinking from the point of view of actually being in the Hawaiin timezone for some reason. The darn score anxiety is getting to my brain :-S

^Just goes to show, boys and girls, that the SAT, a so-called “reasoning” test, isn’t necessarily indicative of actual reasoning ability. At least in this one display of horrendous critical thinking it wasn’t :))

Any final predictions for how you guys did before results come out? CR 560-600 M 570-610 and W 640-710

Official curve for June 2014 SAT, released by CollegeBoard

Math:
-1 = 800
-2 = 800
-3 = 800
-4 = 790
-5 = 770
-6 = 750

CR:
-1 = 800
-2 = 800
-3 = 800
-4 = 800
-5 = 790
-6 = 790
-7 = 780

Writing:
-1 = 800
-2 = 800
-3 = 800
-4 = 790
-3 = 780
-6 = 740

I am hoping for
760-800 M
750-800 W
700-760 CR
But with the stupid passage on dark matter, I’m not sure what to make of my CR score. So at least a 2250 maybe

@Jarjarbinks23‌ Where did you get that curve? I have a hard time believing it’s that generous, especially for math and writing.

For me I’m thinking 800M, 700CR, 750W. Praying the above curve is legit cause then I could score 2300+!

@Jarjarbinks23‌ wow isn’t that a very nice curve which would mean the test for all 3 sections was hard or was the curve average? also the essay score for writing. is that off a 12 essay?

@sat2014 Usually, assuming you get all of the multiple choice questions correct for the Writing Section (Identifying sentence errors, improving paragraphs, etc.), you have to get at least a 9/12 on the essay to score an 800

@Zeek31897‌ I usually score 8 or higher on my essay but boy does that curve look SUPER FAVORABLE shocked considering many thought math and writing was medium and only CR was difficult

Yeah, I’m not so sure about that curve. Getting a 51/54 on the math would definitely never yield any test taker an 800 unless the section was the extra

what do u guys think math :-1. CR: -4 to -8. Writing: 9essay -4 mc. is

Boy I really hope that curve is true. usually a -1 in math is like a 780 790, I think 4 to 8 wrong in CR is low 700’s and -4 on W with a 9 essay is like low 700’s

@juju76567‌ you can actually get a pretty accurate prediction on <a href=“SAT Score Calculator - The College Panda”>http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com/sat-score-calculator/</a>
Math -1: 780-790
CR -4 to -8: 650-730
Writing: 680-710

Google: SAT score calculator at College Panda

@sat2014 yeah I was joking XD. Oh well, I really wish it was that lenient

@Jarjarbinks23‌ wow that really made me sad now. Thought that curve was real. guess i have to go back to :-S

Alright, my final score projections:

CR: 750
M: 710
W: 740
Composite: 2200
Honestly, I should have done much better, but it’s out of my hands now.

Also, if you guys don’t already read my posts in Neil deGrasse Tyson’s voice, you really should.

@mizejonathan17‌ my goodness I wish I had your scores… any tips on getting a 2000? I have plenty of available resources such as 3 barron SAT books and a Princeton Review 11 SAT practice tests.

Im just going to cover up the entire screen and reveal each section score one by one, so the composite doesn’t slap me in the face out of the blue,
