***June 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@Jellybae‌ if the curve was harsh for march, doesn’t that mean the CR section was “easy” as a whole?

It wasn’t easy at all. The vocab was mean and the bijah passage questions were hard. Everything else was easy-ish though

Vocab was brutal and so was the bijah passage. I don’t remember what else was on it but they decided that the majority of the test was easy. A lot of us disagree with that. don’t laugh but I got a 460 on that SAT for CR :(

You took the march SAT? I wouldn’t laugh at you CR is hard

Other than the dark matter passage, due to the vocab being generally favorable, I expect the curve to be rather average for reading. from the march to may CR, my score went up 110 points. from a 460-570. don’t expect higher than a 580 for both reading and math this time. felt I wasn’t CAREFUL for both but feel very positive with writing.

I probably would have gotten a much worser score than what sat2014 got. I think mine would have been 400, because I only got like a 600 once on a practice test from the blue book, and one of the passages was easy.

I wish CR wasan’t so difficult, I mean whats the point of making sentence completion a little bit easier, and have the passage questions being difficult. I think they should make the whole thing a little bit easier than just part of it.

@jellybae don’t stress too much dude. I think I left more than 3 or four blank on the reading, so I probably have to start at a 780 or something like that, so if I missed a lot than I am more screwed, unless if the questions I left blank were too difficult for me to answer?

My goal is to get a 620 on CR in October. It will be tough but I think I can get it done. For math, I must get a 640+… It is not as bad as it was just 2 weeks ago. I understand it much better and hope I get a medium level math sections. As for writing, I think I did well on the June portion but my goal would be 700+ in writing. I think it’s achievable :P

When are the scores being released?

5AM EST @jmath06‌

anybody staying up?

I AM, 5 AM SEE YOU THERE

Guys, just ip proxy and get those scores at 2AM!

I’ll pass that seems like too much effort

I’ll wait till tomorrow morning

the writing portion for the may 2006 exam was brutal… got a 630 :frowning: really hope not to see that in October. Want all medium sections.

I’ll just check tomorrow during work haha. Hope everyone gets their desired score!

I would stay up but I’ve got an ocean science technology engineering and math (ostem)camp at 7:45 a.m. at NOVA university, we’ll be tagging sharks! Whoooooop (: I guess I’ll check tomorrow morning before the trip. :-/

So if SAT scores are up around 5 AM EST, then by that logic they should be up at 11 PM HST in Hawaii? If so, then I can just find a Hawaiian ip and get them then… Anybody sure if this is how it works?

inb4 “just wait” “BE PAYCHENT!”
