Recently took the June 2015 SAT and I was wondering which section other SAT-takers thought was experimental?
I think it was the very last math section (section 9, very difficult)
Everyone does not get the same experimental section. The experimental section can be writing, math, or CR. The experimental section is always 25 minutes and is therefore given before section 7. Because of this, it can’t be section 9 math.
By the end of the test, you should know which section was experimental because you had that section type 4 times (essay + 3 sections for writing). I had an experimental writing, and it was pretty obvious because it was in an entirely different format. It isn’t always this obvious, however.
Whichever section type you had 4 times is your experimental. I had 4 writing sections so I know I had a writing experimental.
I got math section experimental too, I actually think that the experimental section was the one with scatter plot, and the chart for four problems, I have done plenty sat math sections and I never seen anything like that before. ( This section was the one you have to convert from km/s to mph)
