June 2017 Algebra 2 Regents

I don’t remember the exact question…sorry

Uh oh not looking too good for me :frowning:

^haha same!

do you guys have any more exams? i just have spanish checkpoint b left!

Chemistry

I need Physics!

Is Spanish b checkpoint in morning Monday right? @fluffybear

I have Spanish checkpoint B on Monday afternoon and Chemistry Tuesday morning

What’s everyone’s score prediction?

If you get a question wrong on a short response, can you still receive partial-credit?

The answer key for this test covered all the questions I had doubts on (everyone thing else I was pretty solid on), so Im calculating that I got an 85 or an 86 on this (Im iffy on some partial credit questions)

That’s weird we have checkpoint B in the morning but it says on the regents schedule that it’s in the afternoon. Is that the same for everyone in the state?

Yes you can get partial credit. That is why you always have to show your work

somewhere between low 90s and high 80s.
depending on how they grade my short response.
i’m so mad at how poorly the regents worded their questions

@kimclan1 It seems that you know your math really well so I was wondering if you know if this would be an acceptable answer for Question 36: “The company made the decision because 32.5% is not in the 95% confidence interval”

@stechin that is a fine answer

Or at least it should be, NYS can be strange at times

I know right, the wording was terrible. I also made stupid mistakes, I had the right answer and I doubted myself and changed it…
Please give me a generous grader.

@J1234567890 My teacher always taught us with 95% confidence interval being Mean plus or minus two standard deviations and that was about it. He never discussed what “significant” was so seeing it appear on this forum made me think I got the whole question wrong

I checked my work over 4 times. I took 2 hours 55 minutes, that’s the longest I’ve ever spent on a regents (by like 45 minutes). It paid off

Essentially if it’s not in the 95% confidence interval, it’s statistically significant. That wasn’t absolutely necessary to answer the question, though it did make it much easier
