Hey what was the answer to this weird sin function and they asked for the rate of change on the interval [-7,7]?

I said -.26 choice 3 I think

What about the one where they asked for what makes f(x) equal g(x)?

yea that’s what I thought, I hope it’s right

It was choice 2, -.99; not one with the coordinate point and not -1.96

Wanna go through some of the short answers?

@kimclan1 it was choice 2, but the numerical value of choice 2 was 11.29

how do you remember all these

And for the extraneous roots question, 0 wasn’t even a root that was obtained from solving. The answers were x=7/2 and x=2, but the denominator in one of the fractions was x-2, so 2 was extraneous

Yeah you’re right sorry 11.29 but without the 32.87

What are some short answers…ahh I don’t even remember except for the 18% 22% 1247, 10.3002, 16.8

I don’t remember a lot of the part 2 questions

There were 2 graphs…the exponential decay (2 points) and the log (4 points)

Did we have to show work for the graphs or could we just draw them

for the exponential graph i showed a table, for the log graph i just wrote out the x and y intercepts. we’re in alg 2 now, they’re not really testing if we know how to make a graph

Just draw 'em. I put in points every so often to make sure it was a good sketch but did not label any points.

For #25 it was p(2)=-6 and it is not a factor because the remainder is not 0

Yea I wrote down a bunch of points for each under the two graphs

The factoring one was something like (x^2+4)(4x-1)

Yea that’s right

Yea but the you had to make it (x+2)(x-2)(4x+1)
