June 2017 Chemistry Regents

AP Chem is a lot harder at my school. I took honors chem, which is basically the feeder class to AP Chem, so I got a taste of it. You have to really like chem to take it. It’s not an AP that you take just to take an AP. The labs are complex and there are daily quizzes.

I still didn’t get my score yet. I’m still waiting apparently. I just don’t know how long they take to grade the chemistry regents and send the scores to my school. Oh well, I don’t blame them. They probably have lots of students to grade still.

@bhargavaa I am currently taking AP World History (one of the only AP exams that my school allows sophomores to take). Next year, I plan to take AP Chemistry (as well as APUSH, AP English Lang, and AP Biology). My Honors Chemistry teacher enthusiastically recommended me for AP Chemistry and I have always been inclined towards Biology and Chemistry (I taught myself most of the Chem curriculum over the summer out of interest). I don’t think AP Chem will be too much to handle next year.

We don’t even have AP chem at my school. That’s not fair

AP Chemistry goes a lot deeper than Chemistry Regents. There is a lot more math and concepts you have to learn. Good luck and always ask questions in class. A lot of people struggle but just keep grinding!!

where do u see the grades?
