was section 2 the experimental math , it was the one with the dice on number 18

The math scale is always crazy-tight. The practice test from the CB bulletin that I got from my guidance office has this for math:

Raw/Scaled
54/800
53/790
52/760
51/740
50/720
49/710
48/700
47/680

ah damn. omitted one. and probably missed one or two. not good. hopeffuly i get a 740

It sucks that there were so many different versions; a lot of these math questions that you guys are talking about I didn't have.

Yea...I guess the CB is trying to get more and more data so they can make percentiles maybe...

Are there always this many versions?

No--in march there was 1

lol yeah this time there was like so many. well anyway hyper any criticals wanna talk about? by the way i live in NJ

well, we can only hope.

im going to bed... and hopefully this is my last post here 4ever. this should be my last SAT. and then i got senior yr to decompress and visit Pton

oo one more grid in question I rmbr the one with like the square and then they turned it into a rectangle with the different traingles inside and like a small black square and small parellogram and the square originally had like 12 radical 2 written as a side and then the rectange the answer was like 72 rightt for its perimenter ?

what was the answer to that multiple choice one where you plug in the digsts 1-9 and find the sum of x + y. I got 7 + 8 = 15

didn't have it..what section was this on

It was 12 radical 2 so the sides other than the hypotenuse were 12 b/c it was 45-45-90, and there were 6 sides of the 12 side so its 72....

I got 72 on that funky rectangle too. I can't really remember the CR questions >< My mind is trying to suppress them I think ;)

what was the question with the two graphs...one of them went through the origion with a few curves while the other was the complete opposite in the opposite direction. would it be like perpendicular so it woudl be -1/f(x)

lol same here...my strongpoint is math but I think i got really lucky on critical this time and might score above 700 woot!! lol writing I don't need to worry cuz I have my 750 from last time...althought I think I did do better this time. Not sure about essay cuz I felt like to experiment with a different format this time and wrote a total LIE of an essay using great examples lol.

the graphs were f(x)=-g(x)

What bout that one that was
y>3 x=4
was the answer the reverse of the question?

no, it was if y is not greater than 3, then x is not 4. (answer D)

the switcheroo answer was too easy ;)

wilimington I think that one was A...they f(x) = -g(x). f(x) essentially means the y- value and it was opposite y-values not reciprocal...cuz the two graphs were NOT perpendicular....that's too advanced for SAT I anyway lol. ANd it was an early problem.
