Agreed with the natives having knowledge. I recall reading it directly from the text after having to search for that one a little bit. I’m pretty positive on that one.

I don’t think she met the elders. I was recall them discovering the flower.

I agree that it’s elder knowledge.

for the nature woman passage question that was like what was the museum made to represent or something… i said that it was naturally curved or made by elements or whatever… did anyone else say that?

I said that it was created with the stones - that was mentioned in the passage. Couldn’t find the answer you said in the passage.

did anyone get “nuclear testing” as an answer? was that among the answer choices of the question that “volcanoes” was an answer to? i think i said that nuclear testing was the first use of the infrasound but i may be thinking of a diff. question… i was very time crunched on sci passage so i probably messed it up.

I think I know what you are asking about. For some reason, I think it was in lines 35-48.

Was it when that guy came into the others office and told them he heard a loud boom?

In regards to the purpose passage of elder knowledge
Holy crap read my posts. I explained pretty well why I think my answer is right yet I don’t see any rebuttal or support of why any other answer is rigt.
And also, they definitely did mention elders because they specifically said something about a native elder in that passage.

@bchamp
Yes I got shaped by elements and I also got volcanoes

Did anyone else get that the museum was natural and shaped by elements? I remember reading in the passage that it said the museums looked like they were carved by western winds on a cliff or something

can someone answer the nuclear testing one? i put nuclear testing for one answer and volcanoes for another…but i had only 5 minutes on last passage so i dont really know if its correct

Well it did say that it was constructed out of something and I chose that answer.

imadropout what was the question that you answered it was shaped by the elements

i put it existed before, not that the elders were knowledgable. The elders were knowledgable didn’t make any sense. She stated that they were smart but it doesn’t answer the question that was asked

same question as @jennwhenn. was there one question with the answer volcano and one for nuclear testing. I think I remember having both for answers.

Elders knowledgeable makes absolutely no sense. It more shows the ignorance of the conservation than anything else.

Did anyone get an answer in that passage concerning something like “she worked in conservation”

If you go back and read what people have said about the knowledge, it does make sense.

For the people who don’t think elders being knowledgeable was the right answer: what answer did you put?

I distinctly remember that question, and I distinctly remember reading another answer I thought applied better, but some of the information in it was inaccurate. I feel like the elders being knowledgeable had to be the answer because the other answers weren’t factually accurate.

@snayyan
It was like what best describes the museum or something

what did you put was the main idea of the native american passage?

With the elders being knowledgeable, about 1/3 of the paragraph had anything to do with elders at all, and only 1 line said they were smart. I answered it talked about her work with the Nature Conservancy, because the whole paragraph fell into that category. It was asking for the main idea, not a single fact that seemed cool.

The only answers I can remember at this point are
the elders being knowledgeable
and something about the native americans growing the blue flowers
