June 8th ACT Reading

@Kalex

Thanks for the reassurance. My grammar has been deduced to remedial level after that test. Math and Reading is were I think I struggled the most, according to the answers people put anyway. Some questions were downright unforgiving due to there multiple “possible” answers and the math had too many pictures and graphs. The vocab on the English was unexpected and dumb mistakes on the math were expected. Hopefully the curve works in our favor.

I hope someone doesn’t judge me on those grammar mistakes ^. Their and where.

for the prose fiction i had to guess on the last two questions (9 and 10); I put A for both of them…by any chance does anyone know if I got atleast one right or both wrong or both right (probably not).

@DK

Do you remember what the questions were?

Did we ever determine what the answer to the inverse one from the infrasonic passage was? also which answer choice was it?

Inverse one…? I don’t know what you mean.

in the infrasound passage one of the questions about what is inversely proportional?

Oh I think it was frequency of the sound and the length of the wave

do you remember which answer choice that was?

Does anyone remember question from the sound passage

Barometer WAS used. The loud speaker was NOT because it was said that it was SIMILAR to a loud speaker.

Can someone explain why mother agrees with occasionally disconnecting from her past

Also, what was the answer to what the girl would agree about her mother

^she disconnected about her past to make a point that she doesn’t need to be totally consumed by the farming life

dont remember that other answer though

Was the question about the Hot Springs that it was typical chores, done well or somethin like that?

hm?

the only question i remember that mentioned hot springs was the one that asked how the author viewed her trips with her mother to hot springs. I put them as cherished and significant

I don’t think that they went to hot springs. I am confident that they went to a department store.

So it is about their daily chores right? Hot Springs is where they lived I thought…

Either way, I also put cherished and significant.

for the prose fiction i had to guess on the last two questions (9 and 10); I put A for both of them…by any chance does anyone know if I got atleast one right or both wrong or both right (probably not).

Unfortunately I don’t really remember the questions because of time.

It was hard!
