June ACT English Section

Does anybody remember the one with the chromosome thing?
I’m not sure what the answers were but I remember they all seemed rather horrid.
I think I went with the colon.

^I also went with the colon.

@ajeck i put the same thing. Also the next question about the X chromosome and there was a colon. does anyone remember that question? i think i put since,

I put since too.

what about the question that dealt with the guy announcing it from ringside? like which shows that the information gets to the audience?

^I left it how it was.

^^^ No change i think…

^ I chose ringside (no change)

I don’t understand why there would be a comma after the since, though. I put the colon.

I put the action…probably wrong

Ringside because that showed that he was at the scene.

It would have made sense if it was ‘, since’ but ‘since,’ just looked wrong

I put as itself. In sounds right but doesn’t make sense.

For the lasting effects one, I think I said no because that wasnt the main topic of the essay

What is this colon question everyone’s talking abt lol?

what was the problem with the colon and comma?

yeah, i put no change since i thought it already gave enough information and it would be awkward to change it.

Yea. I don’t think there was supposed to be a comma after since; it didn’t seem grammatically correct. I kept the colon.

I put no change too.

What sentence is this (not to be annoying lol)???

Last sentence of the second(?) paragraph of the second page of the colorblind passage
haha I don’t remember the question at all.
Just that I put a colon.

Yes, I kept the colon too.
