well??? .....

come on people... the passage about the guy stuck and trying to get out? the paper... what was that all about? i'm pretty sure I got most of it, but I'd like to have a little discussion...

wait.. he got STUCK? I totally missed that. All I knew was that he was using the light to find his way around. Wasn't there light coming in from the fenetre? Or was that just light from being on the porch?

well he was stuck indoors, and he used his flashlight to knock the key out of the keyhole (which was on the other side) and pull the key to his side of the room (by using the paper)... but where was he stuck?

ok, he used a match to knock the key out, he was in his bedroom

right. whatever, i knew he used some kind of light causing object. but damn, i said he was somewhere else. I got the other answers right though. the questions for that one were -
where is he? - bedroom
what is he trying to do? - escape
what does the paper serve for? - to bring the key over (or something to that tune)
what aids him? - a hole (or something) between the door and the floor.
and there was a last question, but I forget.

I think the answers were (chambre) and (essayer

what does the paper serve - (recevoir la cl

yeah I got essay a s'evader as well. for some reason I felt he was locked in a bathroom LOL. I think its because I thought the paper was toilet paper...

I thought there was a last question, maybe not. I concurr with you answers.

What about the sentence completions?

-compter _______ (I put "sur")

its sur. i changed it from sur to en. ARGHH

lol, now, what about the Enfant Noir passage -

what reassured him? - (d'entendre ses parents)
what surprised him - (il a vu une reptile)
what did he do to show he wasnt afraid - (il a jou

"what surprised him - (il a vu une reptile)"
-I'm prolly wrong, but I put the answer choice about the roseau.

I think that your answer (il a absorbe...) is correct. Thats what I put, but my friend contends that its (le serpent a tourne lentement...) I dunno, but I'm pretty sure that your answer is correct, however

the 19th century villages - i dont remember all the q's

what did the young people like - (la vie dans les village dans la 19th si

I can remember being so happy during the test that I actually paid attention in class and I got the conditionel passe' part. I don't remember the actual question, but the answer was something like..

j'aurais _______(conditionel passe verbe).

I felt so good about my self after answering that one.

well, the snake swallowed the rose, so i think its absorber

agree agree. I remember saying that the villages tried to preserve their uniqueness, but I don't know which question this was in response to.
