June SAT Score Impact

Hello,
I took my SAT Test in June and I was quite disappointed since I only got a 1690 compared to the 1730 I got on the March SAT.
The thing is that the June SAT was my 4th time taking the SAT and I am very frustrated since I have seriously put in a lot of hours completing College Board Blue Book practices tests, and studying writing errors
Compared to my March SAT, my goal for the June SAT was at least a 1900 as I put in numerous hours in to studying

I plan on going to NYU, but I can readjust my college choices depending on how everything else goes
I have a bit of ECs and my GPA I believe is a 4.0 while my class rank for my junior year is top 5% (#6 out of 197 Juniors)
I feel my academic performance at school does not match at all my performance on the SATs

March SAT (1730)
Reading: 560
Math: 590
Writing: 580
Essay: 9

June SAT (1690)
Reading: 490
Math: 650
Writing: 550
Essay: 7

So my SAT Super score is 1790 currently

If anybody could recommend me something to improve my scores that would be great, I mostly need help in Critical reading out of all sections, and that is mostly on the actual passages and questions that I tend to get wrong, and a bit of help on the Writing section would not hurt

Thank You

Hey,
I too was affected negatively by the error, and I scored a 1870 compared to my 1950 I got my first time. My best advice to you concerning critical reading, is to underline at least 2 key components in every answer choice. Then instead of eliminating the entire answer eliminate the underlined part that makes the question wrong. This helps greatly for the reading comprehension section. For the sentence completion section, vocab, vocab, and vocab
Hope this helps.

Does anyone think college board will give a few extra points to the Math or CR sections? It seems as if everyone’s score went down due to the harsh curve

I highly doubt that, more so I am 100% sure that they will never do that

Thanks for your help
