hey so i took the june sat and i just got my score today.. and i was pretty surprised that i got a score 200 points lower than my first score, given the fact that i was really confident this time. i mean i know its possible that even if i thought i did well i could have possibly made a couple of careless mistakes on some questions, but i just didnt think i would do this poorly. i was wondering if its possible for collegeboard to mix up students' test scores? has anyone experienced an issue like this? because it's happened to me before too, a student with the same name as me got my psat score this past october while i got his score of 112 which made me almost wet my pants until i went to my guidance to sort things out. can anyone shed some light regarding this issue? any help would be appreciated. thanks
-and if this has any influence on my score, i took the test as a standby/walk-in

the website wont even load for me…
as far as your problem i would just give them a call and ask about it

thissssss ^^^

yeah i know its down for me right now too. i checked earlier which totally ruined my day haha

I am in the same boat as you are in, I scored 300 points lower than i am used to. I took an SAT course and i would get in the 2000’s but now on the june SAT i got a 1740. It just doesnt make sense to me and im hoping, like you are, that collegeboard made a mistake. My advice for you, and what im going to do, is email my guidance counselor and see if there is any possibility collegeboard made a mistake with my scores. I know its not much help because I dont know what to do either and i honestly dont believe i got a 1740

My score went down by 60 points. What was your original score? I don’t think it’s very common for collegeboard to mix up your scores, but it’s possible I’m sure.

hopefully the maintenance on the site right now is because scores got mixed up even if there was a poor curve i just cant believe i would drop by so much especially when i felt i did well on this one

thanks sabella i think im going to try and contact my guidance counselor too. hopefully i still can although there are practically no more days of class left

I heard the curve really sucked on this test. I studied a lot for it and did worse. Glad I’m not the only one though…

Im hoping collegeboard made a mistake with my scores because if they didnt, well I just wasted all this money on an SAT course that didnt even help me in the long run. I hope the reason the site is down is because they actually screwed up a lot of scores.
And your welcome, idk if im going to get ahold of my guidance counselor either but its worth a shot.

I was reading the “official” thread and all those kids got much higher scores. This is very strange

weaponcaptain can you link me to that “official” thread?

There ya go

yeah i got almost a full 200 points lower on the June SAT than the March SAT. The March SAT imo was soooo much harder. I felt confident about the June SAT. I have no idea what happened. I just doubt I got a 1540 after a 1700. I WANNA GO UP! Is it possible that collegeboard made a mistake with my grades?

thanks weaponcaptain
and @liuftw idk thats what we’re all hoping

I took the January one and got an 1880 but took this one and got an 1820. I don’t understand why so many people did worse on this test. I was way more confident with the June test and I did way worse than I wanted (Was expecting 2100+)

@sabella I’m praying to god.

@weaponcaptain27 after looking at the official thread i wanted to cry just a little bit because it seemed like everyone else did amazing on this one

I know, same here. :(

@liuFTW im praying alongside with you. Maybe there was a mistake
