Hey peeps, im working on a consolidated list.

bart do you recall the last 10 questions?

sorry, not at all. Don’t worry tho guys, im sure none of you have anything to worry about.

Does anyone remember the “Which two are matched with their Progressive writer and Enacted legislation” or whatever

It was like Upton Sinclair…Food and Drug Administration Act

i put that answer^^^

does anyone remember containment as an answer? wait i actuallly think that was like 86? or something?

what was the last question on the whole test? anyone remember?

^^^ I remember containment as an answer to a question about foreign policy after WWII.

for the passage which everyone says its cult of domesticity, here’s a quote from the source document.
“Let the women of a country be made virtuous and intelligent, and the men will certainly be the same. The proper education of a man decides the welfare of an individual; but educate a woman, and the interests of a whole family are secured.”
-It clearly addresses education, I thought it could be both the cult of domesticity as well as education, I could see both answer choices as being correct, and I went ahead with education as the answer choice, does anyone also think it could be education?

Also, for the war of 1812 war hawks question, didn’t they want to acquire Canada?

^ almost positive it was cult of domesticity, the education answer stated that the quote called for the SAME education for women as men. the passage implied educating women, but it would have had to be more explicitly stated if the answer was something as extreme as equal education. it’s from catherine beecher’s “a treatise on domestic economy: for the use of young ladies at home, and at school,” so yeah. she did advocate education, but i believe it was mainly so that women would have a good influence on men and children.

not looking good for an 800 for me, i think i’m right on the edge and i probably missed a few more that weren’t mentioned in this thread. :(

Here goes nothing. Btw, As a US History nut, i decided to share my love for it. these are just a random bunch of facts that i found to be interesting. Any similarities to answers on any test is purely coincidential.

The one about the 2nd New Deal, I know what you said is true but that wasnt a choice. Am I right? I put down that there was so much opposition to the Roosevelt at the time because I remember learning about the opposition going hand in hand with the 2nd Deal in class this year. But, now that I think about it the answer might have been “opposition to the fact that the depression was continuing”.

I really need to get off of here now though because i am freaking out over whether or not I remembered to put the NOT for the questions that asked for it. Im sure I did but you know how you start to second guess yourself sometimes.
