<p>The slaves knew how to farm rice in Africa so they helped with rice in South Carolina but they never knew about cotton. (I saw that on a practice test). I remember most farmers could afford slaves was a wrong choice for that one because most people in the south could not afford slaves and did not have them. I think that anser had something to do with invatured servents being hard to come by at that point.</p>
