@Practical: Well Portugal explored Africa in the mid-late 1400s. Spain went to America during the early-mid 1500s and Columbus was 1492 or so. Depends on if the question specified it was the Americas.

Florida was settled in the early 1500s, Virginia not untill the late 1500s/early 1600s.

It specified the Americas, I’m sure.

Question definetely mentioned which country went to Americas first.

Yesss I put florida and Spain, so Im right??

Well in that case Spain is right :)

^ I think you are hahaha

^I really don’t think it did, actually. But, after I read the question, I was like ,“what does this have to do US history.”

I remember after reading it thinking, well whoever Columbus sailed for is the right answer because he made it to the Americas first.

There is no way the question was which country colonized the world first. That would be world history. It HAD to have specified America.

So far I’m at 1 omit and -2. What’s the curve for an 800?

It said which was the first area to be colonized. Isn’t virginia the answer since jamestown is the very first colony in america?

@Practical: Same here Well DH and Kaplan said it was -10

@cortana: I’m pretty sure Spain colonized Florida…

no… st.augustine florida. and i put JFK, nixon are eastern lines cause it said ANTICOMMUNISM AFTER WWII… JFK WAS DEAD PPL

jamestown was first english permanent settlement… think florida was right answer…

Okay, so it’s Florida and Spain. What about the one about the vaccine? I put smallpox, is that right?

ahh you’re right! dang so far i have about 4 wrong.

JFK was not dead after WWII…He died in 1963…>.>

It’s seriously smallpox? Wow, I’m great at guessing.
