I got into ucla as a transfer student with a major in cognitive science. I started looking into environmental science and am really interested in the environmental health science concentration. I was told though, that I can't change majors because all of the units from the new major will put me over the max of 216 units, i have 100.5 right now. Is there any possible way I can get into this major, or another similar one? My goal is to eventually go to med school, so i'll be doing postbac after i graduate. And if not this, my back up is to get a doctorate or some form of graduate degree in environmental health science. Any advice or other suggestions?

Thank you veery much.
