<p>I was admitted today to UCLA for Anthropology BS :)
I wanted to know if anyone on here knows if it is possible for me to change my major to Cognitive Science (I applied to UCSD as a Cognitive Science major but have yet to hear back from them). </p>

<p>It’s not impacted so I think your fine as long as you start work on the prereqs as fast as you can. You’ll be pre-major status until you complete your prereqs.</p>
<p>From what I’ve gathered from current UCLA students, you can at orientation since it is not impacted. I’m also considering changing my major to cogsci from psychology!</p>
<p>That’s awesome jaynami. Maybe I’ll see you around if we change into cognitive science. Just a quick question though: is it more difficult to make a change & makeup for those prerequisite courses @ UCLA? I’m missing like 3-4 of CogSci’s prereqs and only 1-2 for Anthropology. Any UCLA students who seamlessly changed majors on day one, please let me know</p>
