Junior class choices, track to Med-School?!?

I want to know the best classes to take to increase my chances of getting in to Med-School

My options are...

Sciences- AP or Hon Chemistry vs. AP Physics
Math- Pre Calc vs. Discreet
English- AP English 3, or Hon English 3. (I hate writing essays, I like reading though)

Psychology and Allied Health as my electives? Or French 1 instead of Psychology. I could take French after I finish Spanish 1 and 2. So I don't know whether taking 2 languages will help me, or to take psychology in place of French.

And I'll be taking AP US Gov't, and Hon US History in Junior year too.

Thanks!

Uhh your high school classes aren’t going to affect your med school acceptance…Worry about undergrad first.

This thread made me lol so hard

Well I’m happy I amused you. I obviously don’t know everything about getting in, and I’m shocked that you assumed I did  I’m a Junior who is confused about his classes, and is asking a College Help site what I should take to help me get there. Really hilarious apparently. Anyone else besides Francaisalamatt with an actual SERIOUS response out there? Btw thank you Francaisalamatt, being truthful not sarcastic.

I just want to have a little help. It’s either Medical School, or Pilot School. And since my grades are great I figured Medical is the way to go. Get the most out of my HS. you know? I wanna go for Anesthesiology not only for the pay, but the benefits and the things you do in that career. If I’m going to Med School I’m shooting for the best.

Again, how you do in high school isn’t going to affect what kind of post graduate studies you pursue. So, take what you think would interest you most, then talk to your college adviser about the best track at your undergraduate school for being admitted to a top medical school.

Your junior schedule will have no impact on med school. Neither will your senior year schedule. You shouldn’t want to go to med school just because you have great grades- it takes up 4 years undergrad, 4 years of PG education and at least 2-3 years residency. It is a lot of time.

What you do in college is what matters.

^what they said.
lol, this thread is really funny.
I can see the med school admissions being like “well, this kids pretty good, wait…HOLY ***** he took french instead of psychology in high school, hes out”
