Okay, next year I have the option of taking AP Bio or Anat/Phys Honors. I want to take Anat/Phys, but it is not offered as an AP. My guidance counselor (who sometimes has no idea what she is talking about) says I should just take anat/phys, since I'm not going to do anything related to science when I grow up. But I was wondering, will it look really bad to colleges to see that I could have taken an AP but didn't? I'm taking two other APs and three other college classes! What more do these people want??

Ivies would rather the Bio but for other schools with those APs, you're fine.

Which science class will you be taking next year?

If there's any possible way you can take both, do it! I took Anatomy & Physiology last semester and LOVED every minute of it!!!!

I would discourage you from taking Phys...it's like the hardest and the most useless science ever. You'll likely do badly in it, especially if you don't like science. Take AP Bio.

If you want to do it, I suggest doing it. I did something similar; I turned down AP Chem for Bio II Honors, which is pretty much an Anatomy/Physiology class at our school.
