Its the first time I'm entering the Science and Humanities Symposium...from the website I got the impression that you must enter as an oral presentation in order to have a shot at moving on to national level or winning any prizes or anything...do you know if thats true? or can you just do a poster and also get selected to move on and/or win prizes?

And also, what does an "oral presentation" include..like powerpoint I'm guessing?

the deadline for registering is today and they ask that question, so help would be awesome

yeah, JHSH is all about the oral presentation (I didn’t know posters were allowed).
Typically, people make powerpoints. I haven’t done it yet, but some friends have.

ya they ask if you are presenting a poster or oral, but thanks!! you just saved me, i was originally going to select poster because in local science fairs its all posters…im unaccustomed to the oral presentation stuff, but i figure it will be easier to make a powerpoint than a poster, and either way your speaking to people…thanks
