Junior/Senior Year Scheduling Help

I attend a school system that demands certain fine arts, gym, and tech credits (computer lit) and I don't know what I should do in regards to scheduling.

This is my junior year sched template:
AP lang, AP Gov, AP Calc, AP Physics B, AP Physics B lab, Journalism III, and Advanced Spanish.

My senior year I want to take AP Lit, AP Euro hist, AP Calc II, AP Bio, AP Bio lab, Journalism, and a half year of philosophy and a half year of gym (gym is required).

however I potentially need a a tech credit, as I'm waiting to see if Journalism II counts, and definitely need a fine arts credit (theatre). what should I drop? the AP Bio and the lab? will it look bad if I don't take a science class? also, will HYP etc understand that I had to take for example 1 1/2 years of gym and the fine arts and tech credits? in general are my courses competitive?

also, what’s a TASP and what’s an RSI - ive heard that circulating around the board

TASP and RSI are (very prestigious) summer programs with basically negative acceptance rates. You can google them to find more information.

Considering your taking many AP classes junior year, I’d say that that’s pretty competitive. Of those classes, drop the one that is least important to your future career choice. If your going to be an english major, I’d say that dropping AP Bio would be your best bet.

Yes, colleges will take into consideration the fact that there are required courses.

thanks. wow, i’ve never heard of those programs. i went to andover for one summer and got pretty good grades (and i thought it was pretty hard) - is it comparable?
