At first, I was considering setting up a partisan political club, but someone mentioned Junior Statesmen of America. I looked into the program and it looks like something I would really like to set up at my school.

Can anyone with experience with JSA tell me their personal experience with the program and/or the logistics of setting up a chapter at your school?

As a rising senior, do you guys think it is doable for me?

I am the one who mentioned it in your thread, and I founded my chapter at my school. Lmk if you have any questions. Just call them, give them your address, they'll send you everything you need. Membership dues are 4 dollars IIRC and you need 8 members, including yourself, to start the club.

My daughter, sophomore in AZ, is at the Princeton JSA right now. Unbelievable how hard they are working. It sounds like a great program. She plans on trying to start a chapter when she returns.

its a good program, theres a chapter at my school, the people hardly do any work but we have great discussions. and convention is always fun too, its like a nerd social gathering!

and yes, i'm tired of artofmind's depressing storeis too.
