junior year and stuff.

so, i just applied for classes, and the thing is i'm taking EIGHT classes BOTH semesters. none of them are APs/HONORS, but at the private college preparatory school i go to, even regulars are supposed to be KILLER junior year.

and i'm taking psych. the thing is, psych at my school is TAUGHT like an ap class, and if we end up with an a in the class, we can take the ap test. but the teacher is suicidal (my friends have her for whap).

so basically, the question is SHOULD i take 8 classes?

I was in a similar situation last semester. It sounds as if you don't feel like you can handle it. I took too many classes one semester with doubts. I ended up fine, but I do regret taking that many. It gets tiring and trivial after awhile. Take less and concentrate on doing amazingly in those subjects - and get recs from those teachers. Take the time you would spend in the other class to go further in your core classes.

I'd go for one less-you seem really stressed out just thinking about it. Make sure you have the core (math, science, history, english, language) and that's it.
I'm taking 7 honors courses-but if I could drop, I would (the extra are music-which I love more than the core- and religion)

My school has a 7-period day with 8th optional period. It sucks. What I would give to be on block scheduling.....

And next year my school isn't even going to offer regular classes. Only honors and AP.
